Workshop organized by Politehnica University of Timisoara, Faculty of Mechanics, 14.01.2011

On January 14^th, 2011, Automotivest Association presented the project entitled: REGIONAL CENTER OF COMPETENCE AND DEVELOPMENT OF SUPPLIERS IN AUTOMOTIVE SECTOR - CERC, project realized by Timisoara City Hall with the support of Automotivest Association experts, at the event organized by “Politehnica” University of Timisoara, Faculty of Mechanics. Organized as a workshop and having in the program both theoretical and practical presentations, this event brought to discussions the producers of CNC machine tools, CNC measurement machines, instruments of control and professional fixture devices for CNC machines. At the event the following companies presented: FIDIA (CNC machine tools), Werth (measurement CNC machines), Renishaw (control tools), and AWF (fixture devices for CNC machine tools). With a presence of over 50 persons which including universities, companies and students, the event was considered a success, confirming again a cluster coagulation of local companies initiated by Automotivest Association together with “Politehnica” University of Timisoara, as founding member of Automotivest Association.
